CONSTRUCTION GUIDE

 

STAGE 1: FRAME

Axles installed to NXG frame Under belly enclosed and sealed

 

NXG FRAME

CNC controlled rail fabrication for superior precision and consistency eliminating rail camber variances

Robotically welded components

Components joined with Huck Fasteners for consistent clamp load

 

STAGE 2: HOLDING TANKS &

ELECTRICAL

Fresh, grey, and black water tanks placed Standard electric tongue jack installed Underfloor wiring run

 

STAGE 3: FLOORS

All Winnebago towable products are made with 5/8” tongue and groove plywood

All floors are mounted to an aluminum substructure with aluminum struts running through the length of the floor. The entire underfloor area is filled with residential style fiberglass insulation

Most competitors use OBS Particle Board Absorbs water, deteriorates over time

Holes for plumbing and wiring are cut into the flooring

PEX plumbing is able to expand lessening the chance of water lines breaking from freezing.

INSERTS

Solid wood inserts are used in the framing anywhere something will be mounted to the frame Provides a surface for mounting screws to “hold”
Prevents cabinets and other accessories from separating from the interior wall

WALL INSTALLATION

Walls are then mounted to the units floor
The 5/8” tongue and groove plywood floors provide a strong foundation on which to mount the walls

STAGE 6: FRONT ENCLOSURE & ROOF

After the walls are mounted to the floor it’s time to seal off the front and roof Fully walkable roofs on Micro Minnie, Minnie, & Minnie Plus

The entire front, roof, and back are insulated with fiberglass insulation

The entire roof is then covered with one solid piece of TPO (Thermo Plastic Polyolefin) material.
