5 Mouthwatering Camping Desserts

Tired of having plain old s’mores for dessert when camping? Here are some mouthwatering camping desserts you’ll want to try on your next trip!

Ingredients

Chopped Fruit, any kind you want

Mini-Marshmallows.

Chocolate Chips.

Waffle Ice-Cream Cones.

Tin Foil.

Directions

First chop fruit into smaller, more manageable bits.  Then, we mix all the ingredients (the fruit, marshmallows, chocolate, etc.) together into a bowl. Next, wrap the cones in foil and stuff your mixture into the cones. Folded the foil over the top and lay them over the fire, once the coals had turned gray.   Rotate the Campfire Cones a couple of times.  In about 5-7min they will be ready to eat!  You can eat it with a spoon or like Ice cream.

 

Grilled Chocolate Banana MeltGrilled Chocolate Banana Melt

Ingredients

1 banana, peeled

2 tablespoons miniature marshmallows

2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal, slightly crushed

Directions

First preheat grill to medium high heat. Then, slice banana lengthwise and slightly open. Place on a rectangle of aluminum foil and insert marshmallows and chocolate chips into the opening.

Wrap banana up in foil and cook on the grill for 5-6 minutes. After grilling it, top with cereal.

Ingredients

Refrigerated crescent rolls

Snack pack pudding

Chocolate frosting

Spray whip cream

5/8" wooden dowels

Directions

Take wooden dowel and coat cooking end with oil. Wrap crescent roll around top and about 4" down dowel. Make sure it's not too thick and doesn't have any holes. Cook over hot coals until golden brown, not doughy. Remove from dowel and put your favorite flavor of pudding inside. Frost top and add whip cream.

 

Barbecued Apple Crisps

IngredientsBBQ Apple Crisps

- ½ cup old-fashioned oats

- 6 tbsp flour

- 3 tbsp packed brown sugar

- ¼ cup granulated sugar

- ¼ tsp cinnamon

- dash of nutmeg

- 2 tbsp butter, plus more for foil

- 3 apples

- Lemon juice

Directions

Pre-heat grill to medium heat. Combine oats, flour, sugars, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in butter until mixture is crumbly.  Put bowl in the fridge while you prepare the apples. Wash apples and pat dry.  Core and slice apples, then toss them with a squeeze of lemon juice. Cut two squares of foil (about a foot each) and lightly butter the center of each piece. Place the apples onto of one of the foil pieces and then add the crumble mixture. Place the second square on top and fold the pack close. Put the foil pack for about 20 minutes. Let cool a minute or two before opening, as the contents will be very hot! Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a dash of cinnamon.

Directions

Simply replace the graham crackers of a s’more with Oreos to make this delicious treat.
