    Goldstream Park - Victoria, B.C.

    Although it is located just 16 km northwest of Victoria, Goldstream Park provides one of the most peaceful settings in all of B.C. With massive trees, waterfalls, and beautiful scenery throughout the park, Goldstream is a must visit for those wanting to get a truly amazing camping experience. 

    The park offers several different types of camping, from vehicle camping in the forest to group campsites throughout. While open year round, the park is limited during the winter months, so check the website and make sure you plan before coming. But if you do come in the peak months, be prepared to have your breath taken away. 

    A neat feature of Goldtream Park is the nature house that is open year round. Here you will find displays on natural history, a gift shop and more that you will need to truly understand the park.     Golden Ears Park - Maple Ridge, B.C.

    If you are looking for a combination of shores, mountains and wooded areas all in one, Golden Ears Park is for you! For water enthusiasts you can kayak down Alouette Lake. For outdoor adventurers you can take a mountain bike ride or hike on one of the numerous trails. Highway 99 is one of five access points that leads into the park, and it makes for an amazing escape. The park features around 90 km of trails that are marked well and provide visitors an opportunity to hike or run to some of the most scenic views in North America. Outdoor enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels routinely visit Garibaldi because of the diversity of the trails as well as the environment in which the park sets in.
